EXCURSION TO THE ISLAND OF VISITING BLUE AND GREEN CAVE!!

BLUE CAVE

The cave is described by Ransonet, and is located in the Balun bay on the eastern side of the island of Biševo. It has been available to the public since 1884, when the external entrance is broken, through which a small boat on the rocks enters the cave.

The cave has two openings, one smaller, artificially deepened, through which a rowing boat can pass and this opening has no influence on the cave light. The other opening is like a vault and is much wider, on the south side of the cave beneath the sea level, and through it penetrates the sunlight. Because of the Modre cave, the island has a tourist value. Around the submarine for the calm sea of sun rays penetrate through the underwater hole in the Modola cave, they reflect from the white bottom and illuminate the cave of the blue and the water objects in silver. For small depths of caves and underwater cracks, it is suitable for scuba diving of all categories. Deep is 3 - 20 m. The cave is geomorphologically very interesting and represents a typical karst form.

GREEN CAVE

On the southwestern coast of the Ravnik islet, not far from the island of Vis, lies the intact natural attraction, the Green Cave. At the cave of this cave there is a small hole through which sunsets penetrate for days, leaving a wonderful green color on the surface of the cave, whereby the cave is named after it. In the cave you can sail by boat or just simply swim. Wherever you come to the cave, one thing is for sure, you will enjoy its gorgeous beauty with the unusual light and sea play.
